Hi, I'm Stephanie Leshney, Founder of Dabble & Dollop. After spending over twenty years in the natural ingredient space, I had one of those storied “Eureka!” moments. During my company’s Annual “Kids Science Day,” we turned the office into an interactive laboratory where kids made their shampoos, bubble baths, bath bombs, and more. I was awe-struck at how “into it” they all were. Donning lab coats and goggles, they mixed and giggled the entire afternoon away. On my drive home, I dreamed up Dabble & Dollop as a way to bottle that sense of magic, experimentation, and imagination in a way that kids across the country could also enjoy

Ingredients:

Water (Aqua), Sodium Laurylglucosides Hydroxypropylsulfonate, Coco-Glucoside, Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, Glycerin, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, Glyceryl Caprylate, Caprylhydroxamic Acid, Citric Acid, Fragrance (including 100% natural oils & non-toxic, nature identicals free of known allergens).

Ingredient Transparency

We know that ingredient names, even all-natural ones, can sound scary. Since most of us are not cosmetic chemists like my father, here’s a glossary of our ingredients, including their function, where they are
sourced, and what EWG Ratings they carry (when applicable).

Coco-Glucoside:  A gentle surfactant made from 100% natural, certified RSPO (Responsibly Sourced
Palm Oil) with excellent dermatological properties and well foams. We use it as a co-surfactant in cleansing preparations. It is often used in baby washes because it is so mild.  Our coco-glucoside is sustainably sourced and produced in Wisconsin, USA. (EWG=1)

Sodium Laurylglucosides Hydroxypropylsulfonate: An extremely gentle surfactant 100% naturally derived from sustainable coconut and corn and 100% biodegradable. We selected this gentle cleanser because it is extremely mild (zero reported irritation!) and provides exceptional lather.  Made in Tennessee, USA. (EWG=1)

Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate:  An extremely gentle surfactant that is made from 100% natural RSPO (Responsibly Sourced Palm Oil) (EWG=1)

Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine:  A 100% natural surfactant derived from coconut fatty acids and made in the USA. An exceptional, stable, rich foam can be achieved using coconut fatty
acids as a starting material.  (EWG=1)

Sodium Olivate:  Created by 100% naturally sourced saponified olive oil used as a surfactant. It also
has an amazing velvety skin feel, since olive oil is so close to the composition of human skin. (EWG=1)

Caprylhydroxamic Acid and Glyceryl Caprylate:  This blend is made from 100% vegetable sources from our supplier in Pennsylvania, USA. Combining these two ingredients helps to protect the formulation from developing bacteria, yeast, and mold.  (EWG=1)

Gluconolactone and Sodium Benzoate: Naturally derived from Gluconic Acid, the combination of Gluconolactone and Sodium Benzoate offers broad-spectrum microbial protection in our formulations. (EWG=1-3)

Fragrance:   100% natural with non-allergenic nature identicals. Using our SmartScent™ ingredient, our selected scents must meet the EU (European Union’s) strictest standards to help consumers avoid common allergens and endocrine disruptors. We’ve chosen a combination of natural ingredients and carefully selected nature-identical compounds to present the freshest, purest notes with enhanced safety and stability. Our technology allows us to have a great-smelling product without loading in unnecessary and often irritating essential oils and extracts. We think it’s a great combination of nature and science.
